Im a 21yr old Student currently doing my final year in It Carlow in Software Development. This website is dedicated to my final year project Raspberry Spi.
This project originally started out as a Security Surveillance System, most likely a desktop application that would analyse a video stream from a ip-camera or webcam to detect motion. Whilst researching the project I read an article on the release of the camera module for Raspberry Pi. Having a Pi at home it sparked my interest into how I might to be able to integrate the Pi into my project. This all led to the Raspberry SPi, a three part application a video capture and motion detection program for the Pi, a web application that stores all the user details as well as all the videos, and a android app that serves as the main User Interface for the application.
